An environmentally significant portion of the Monument Creek watershed runs through the United States Air Force Academy property adjacent to and just northwest of Colorado Springs, Colorado. AFIMSC’s Air Force Civil Engineer Center, USAFA, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and local government entities are working to sustain, protect, and restore a healthy watershed to ensure a diverse habitat for indigenous wildlife.
