U.S. Marine Corps Pvt. Bruno, the mascot in training for Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MRCD) San Diego and the Western Recruiting Region, completed his reaper hike and received his Eagle, Globe and Anchor at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., April 5, 2023. The Reaper is the final event of the crucible, a 54-hour exercise where recruits apply the knowledge they learned throughout recruit training to earn the title United States Marine.
