More than 800 Oklahoma Army National Guard members kicked off their year-long deployment to the Horn of Africa by bidding farewell to their families in a ceremony to remember at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, April 15. Following the ceremony, Soldiers were released to their families to spend time together before the Task Force departed for post-mobilization training on April 17 at Fort Bliss, Texas.
