Starting in January, students representing Croatan, Havelock, West Carteret, and West Craven high schools designed and built unmanned aerial vehicles which would be put to the test during the Ultimate Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Competition held on April 22. Engineers from Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) mentored and coached each team during the process.
