The Nigerian Air Force hosted partners from the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation Directorate to join in ribbon cutting ceremonies at Kainji Air Force Base celebrating recently completed base infrastructure improvements there April 27, 2023. The construction was part of the historic $500 million U.S. foreign military sale to Nigeria, which also includes the delivery of the 12 A-29 Super Tucano aircraft, munitions, and training.
