Cal Fire crew members along with U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 302nd Airlift Wing and the 146th Airlift Wing, under the direction of the U.S. Forest Service, complete a re-load of a Modular Airborne Firefighting System (MAFFS) on a C-130 with water for qualification training. This is the 50th year that the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves have partnered with the USFS to use planes loaded with the MAFFS unit for wildland fire training and prevention.
