RDML Scott Sciretta, Commander, Standing NATO Maritime Group Two, speaks to the French media about the upcoming port visit in Toulon and what this port visit symbolizes to NATO and the vital need for interoperability within allied navies. This port visit provides an opportunity to strengthen the long-lasting relationship between the U.S. and France. While in port, Sailors will have the opportunity to participate in an MWR tour to Marseille and journeying to Le Panier, Vieux Port, and Esplanade St. Jean. They will also have to ability for sightseeing and shopping in the city of Toulon, while embracing the beautiful countryside of France.
