Soldiers, Family members, and friends of the 3rd Infantry Division gather for a division change of command on Cottrell Field at Fort Stewart, Georgia, June 1, 2023. After 24 months in command, Maj. Gen. Charles D. Costanza relinquished command of the Marne Division to Maj. Gen. Christopher R. Norrie. During his command, Costanza awarded a silver star to a World War II veteran, opened the Marne Innovation Center, sent a brigade to Europe to deter aggression against NATO allies, and more. The passing of the division’s colors from Costanza to Norrie symbolized a new chapter in the division’s history. Lt. Gen. Christopher Donahue, commanding general of the XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, served as the ceremony’s presiding officer. (U.S. Army video by Pfc. Bernabe Lopez, 50th Public Affairs Detachment)
