Video by Petty Officer 2nd Class Ryan Noel

    U.S. Coast Guard District 1

This video, produced in Boston for National Safe Boating Week and published May 31, 2023, encourages recreational boaters to use ‘If Found’ stickers on their canoes, kayaks, row boats and other small craft to aid first responders. The stickers have a spot for the owner’s name and a couple of phone numbers, which is information the Coast Guard uses whenever finding vessels adrift to help determine whether someone may be in distress or their small vessel simply drifted away unoccupied. The stickers are available at local Coast Guard stations and online. (U.S. Coast Guard video by Petty Officer 2nd Class Ryan L. Noel)
