D-Day 79 concludes with an international memorial ceremony at the British Normandy Memorial in Ver-sur-Mer, France, June 6, 2023. Together, the U.S. and our indispensable European Allies and partners demonstrate the strength of Alliance and unity borne out of D-Day 79 years ago. The aircraft that participated in the flyover were the Patrouille de France, three U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft and one U.S. Air Force MC-130J Commando II aircraft.
