World War II veterans are honored during a D-Day 79 ceremony at Pointe du Hoc in Normandy, France, June 5, 2023. The ceremony honored the Rangers of the 2nd and 5th Battalions who scaled the cliffs at Pointe du Hoc on D-Day 1944.
