U.S. Army Soldiers with the 2nd of the 116th Combined Arms Battalion, Task Force Rattler, of the Idaho National Guard earn the title of the 2023 U.S. Army Central Best Squad, and the announcement is made during a ceremony conducted at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, May 11, 2023. This squad will head to South Carolina for an additional train-up in the next few months in preparation for representing USARCENT at the U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) competition later this year. The winning squad members are Staff Sgt. Joshua Hutchings, Sgt. Douglas Kenz-Wood, Spc. Anthony Hill, Spc. Christian Brown, and Spc. David Hann. Additionally, Hutchings was recognized as the top-performing noncommissioned officer due to his outstanding performance during the competition. (U.S. Army National Guard video by Staff Sgt.
