Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) 107 arrived at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), June 28. LCAC 107 is one of the Next Generation LCAC's that will be added to the Fleet in the near future. LCAC 107's delivery follows the completion of Acceptance Trials with the Navy's Board of Inspection and Survey to test the readiness and capability of the craft and to validate requirements. They are built with similar configurations, dimensions, and clearances to the legacy LCAC, ensuring the compatibility of this next-generation air cushion vehicle with existing well deck-equipped amphibious ships.
