U.S. Marines conduct a patrol exercise in the Northern Training Area, Okinawa, Japan, Jul 10 to Jul 14, 2023. The purpose of the exercise is to rehearse platoon level tactics and patrol base operations within Japan, providing realistic training opportunities to Marines forward-deployed in the Indo-Pacific.
