The Europe and Africa Senior Enlisted Leadership Symposium hosting 41 senior leaders from 22 countries across Europe and Africa, kicked off onboard Naval Station Rota, July 11.
This year's symposium theme, "Building relationships today for a peaceful tomorrow: Cultivating Trust, Confidence, and Respect within our Teams," highlights the senior enlisted leaders’ pivotal role in building strong relationships with our allied navies.
During the symposium, participants will tour the various commands onboard Naval Station Rota, speaking with leaders and junior sailors on the importance of building trust, instilling confidence, and fostering respect within teams. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the tangible benefits of these values, both in operational effectiveness and the overall well-being of personnel.
EASELS 2023 aspires to inspire attendees to prioritize trust, confidence, and respect within their teams. By fostering these core values, senior enlisted leaders can help create a resilient command climate, laying the foundation for a peaceful tomorrow.
