U.S. Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit conducts underwater egress training at Camp Lejeune, N.C., July 6, 2023. The Under Water Egress Trainer course, also known as the "helo dunker", is a lifesaving course and pre-deployment requirement that provides all service members with the skills and confidence to successfully and safely egress out of a helicopter that is submerged in a body of water.
