U.S. Maines with 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division and Republic of Korea (ROK) Infantry Marines practice together on various live fire and notional range scenarios as a part of Korea Marine Exchange Program (KMEP) 23.3 on August 4, 2023, at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea. KMEP is a long-standing exercise that bolsters bi-lateral training between the two services, enhancing the ROK-US standard or lethality, coordination, and mutual respect in the Indo-Pacific region.
