A Coast Guard Air Station MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew medevaced two boaters approximately 20 miles south of Atchafalaya Bay, Louisiana, August 10, 2023. One of the boaters was experiencing heart related issues and was transferred to awaiting emergency medical services personnel at the University Medical Center.
