1st Lieutenant Michelle French, warfighter communication Officer in Charge of Special missions at the 9th Communications Squadrons, discusses her role and impact in the U.S. Air Force's cyber capabilities. She specifically goes in depth into the impact her, and her team have on the information environment, and advancing information warfare. Without the 9 CS, Beale Air Force Base would have no communications capabilities. Her team also helps secure and the 9th Reconnaissance Wing's information environment from breaches, protecting sensitive information from threats and adversaries. This is especially important given the 9 RW's reconnaissance and surveillance mission that has to deal directly with collecting information and advancing information warfare.
