On 12 February 1968, the 3rd Brigade of the 82nd Airborne Division deployed on its first no-notice deployment since WWII. Enduring 22 months of fierce combat, 220 paratroopers gave the ultimate sacrifice. Today, the 3rd BDE deployed from 1968-1969 is known as the "Golden Brigade." The following Paratroopers recount their experiences serving in the Division during that pivital period of our unit history. (Interviews shot by Spc.
