"They both served during World War II and in some ways, they're different personalities who went about ministry, but both are legends in their own right," said Lt. Col. Brain Koyn, the Division's current chaplain.
Chaplain (Col.) Delbert Kuehl and Chaplain (Maj.) George Wood, who both honorably served in the 82nd Airborne Division during WWII were posthumously inducted in to the 82nd Airborne Division's 3rd annual Hall of Fame at a ceremony held on July 9, 2020.

George Wood is the only chaplain in U.S. history who made four combat jumps: Sicily, Salerno, Normandy and Holland. The host of ceremony was Maj. Gen. James Mingus, Commanding General of the 82nd Airborne Division.
