Hurricane Idalia left many in the Big Bend of Florida without access to basic necessities such as food, water, and power, and the city of Live Oak in Suwannee County was no exception. In response, members of the Florida National Guard teamed up with the Florida State Guard to establish points of distribution, or PODs, in the parts of the city hit hardest to distribute critical supplies to local residents.
