Oklahoma Army National Guard's 535th Brigade Engineer Battalion made an impact during heavy demolition training at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas, Sept. 8-10, 2023.
The combat engineers detonated several Bangalore torpedos, explosive charges used to eliminate obstacles and clear roads in theaters of combat. The exercise provided the Soldiers with hands-on experience in the mobility, counter mobility and survivability aspects of a combat engineer's duties.
