U.S. Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 542 participate in the Naval Weapons System Evaluation Program (NWSEP) at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, Sept. 7–27, 2023. The NWSEP allowed VMFA-542 to safely conduct the loading and firing of live missiles at threat-realistic targets to test the squadron's ability, flexibility, and procedures while repositioned in unfamiliar locations.
