SAN DIEGO — Coast Guard Sector San Diego personnel respond to a medical emergency aboard a charter fishing vessel approximately 55 miles west of Point Loma, Oct. 12, 2023. Coast Guard watchstanders received a distress call from the charter fishing vessel, Legend, reporting that a 79-year-old male passenger lost consciousness and fell, signs of a heart attack.
