U.S. Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, participate in Command Post Exercise II (CPX II) on Marine Corps Auxiliary Landing Field Bogue, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Oct. 16, 2023. The purpose of CPX II is to validate various command and control echelons and work with Deploying Group System Integration Testing to ensure digital interoperability between Navy and Marine Corps systems. During CPX II Marines and Sailors worked together to construct a field command post and took this opportunity to train Marines and Sailors on patrolling, tactical combat casualty care, and teamwork.
