Soldiers assigned to the 5th Battalion, 113th Field Artillery Regiment, conduct comprehensive training June 3 -17, 2023 at Ft. Liberty, NC. The unit exercised fire support for large scale combat operations through training exercise "Operation Pineland Thunder". The unit conducted operations ranging platoon-level movements to the battalion-level field training exercise culminating with a special event open to soldiers’ families, and civilian employers observing the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) live fire.
