U.S. Air Force Lt. Col.Phillip Alvarez, 1st Air and Space Communications Operations Squadron commander, introduces the 1st ACOS to newcomers at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Oct. 30, 2023. Because the 1st ACOS has many different capabilities unique to any other communications squadrons, they give communications support to all of U.S. European Command.
