The Department of the Air Force held the first ever Defender Flag exercise at Fort Bliss, Texas, Oct. 23-27, 2023. The event, hosted by the Air Force Security Forces career field and planned and executed by the Air Force Security Forces Center, was a realistic assessment and validation of base ground defense tactics, techniques and procedures during intense, realistic scenarios.
