The 23rd Maintenance Squadron fuels specialists recently conducted annual training demonstrating proper safety procedures for confined spaces.
The training ensures fuels technicians maintain required skillsets and are able to act at a moment's notice to rescue incapacitated or injured individuals from inside a fuels tank.
15th Air Force Safety Team and the Wing Safety office had the opportunity to observe the training and emphasize how the proficiency of safety procedures within confined spaces is crucial to saving lives.
