Approximately 70 Oklahoma City High School Juniors and Seniors travelled to Fort Sill, Okla. as part of the Day in the Life program on Friday, Oct. 27, 2023. Students got first-hand experiences on a day-in-the-life of a U.S. Soldier. They saw the Patriot, Avenger, and HIMARS weapon systems; participated in a rifle range virtual simulator; learned from EOD; spoke with a panel of experienced Soldiers and more.
Day in the Life exists to inform Oklahoma high school seniors about the jobs, benefits and opportunities the U.S. Army can offer them, as well to provide accurate information on what Soldier do in the Army.
