Virtual Reality Training Reduces Fuel Emissions -The Climate Action Plan outlines how the Air Force moves forward in the face of increased climatological threats, cutting emissions, increasing capabilities and reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Virtual reality fits all of those requirements and is increasingly being used Air Force wide to train, certify and prepare Airmen without requiring aircraft down time or expending fuel.
