U.S. Army Corps of Engineers representatives participate in the Maui County Disaster Recovery Community Update meeting at the Lahaina Civic Center Nov. 8. The event provides an opportunity for residents who were impacted by the wildfire disaster to receive updates on a variety of topics.
Representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and American Red Cross were available to answer questions from residents. County of Maui is overseeing priorities during the fire cleanup while working in partnership with state and federal agencies who are on Maui to support the community with this process.
