Overview of the DoD’s Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) Strategic Plan published in September 2022. It will provide
background on the events and efforts that led to its publishing, explore critical components of the document,
and elaborate on the DoD’s intent in publishing it. Additionally, the presentation will offer insight on how military librarians can apply tenets of the strategic plan to workforce development, communication, and interaction with colleagues and patrons.
