We’re highlighting a new Hickam team member, A1C Elizabeth Saldana, who recently shared her thoughts on Native American Heritage Month and what it means to her.
“I think it’s important to know what your people, your brothers and sisters in arms, celebrate and how they celebrate, and how who they are is a direct connection to what they represent – not only in their person, but in their heritage. It can explain their pride and who they are and I think that’s very important to know who your fellow Airmen are.”
