Yakima Training Center Fire & Emergency Services (YTC F&ES) has 11 mutual aid agreements with other federal, state, and local agencies. The YTC F&ES crews are always ready to assist with additional structural firefighting, wildland firefighting, technical rescue, or medical support when needed. YTC F&ES is also a member of the Pacific Northwest DoD Mutual Aid Agreement. This agreement between Navy Region Northwest, Fairchild Air Force Base, and Joint Base Lewis-McCord (JBLM) provides reciprocal fire equipment and personnel to mitigate emergency incidents. All the agency partnerships YTC F&ES are part of, are also available to support us if we need additional support on YTC. Wildland fire season is one of the busiest times of year for supporting our mutual aid partners.
