Naval Medical Readiness Logistics Command, Williamsburg, VA, is a joint command that has members of the United States Navy AND the United States Army. Therefore, the command created its first Go Navy/Beat Army; Go Army/Beat Navy Spirit Spot.
The joint aspects of the command presents an interesting twist to the command's Spirit Spot.
As Commanding Officer Capt. Matthew Marcinkiewicz walked from the warehouse, he introduced himself and explained a bit about the uniqueness of the command. As he ended his stroll from the warehouse to the Blue Bird Ambulance Bus and the 25K Wretch Forklift, he turned and the Navy personnel enthusiastically expressed passion for the team they would like to see win the game. Immediately following the Navy's expression, the Army personnel expressed passion for the team THEY want to win.
