U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagles from the 494th Fighter Squadron, Royal Air Force Base Lakenheath, prepare to takeoff during Exercise Sky Shield 8 at an undisclosed location in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, Nov. 28, 2023. An array of avionics and electronics systems gives the F-15E the capability to fight at low altitude, day or night and in all weather.
