Alec Rackish, an AV-8B Harrier pilot with Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 31, conducts an aerial refueling certification test with an Airbus A400M Atlas, assigned to German Air Transport Wing (LTG) 62, off the coast of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Jan. 23, 2024. VX-31 conducted the aerial refueling certification test with LTG-62 to certify aerial refueling between the Airbus A400M Atlas and AV-8B Harrier platforms, expanding aerial refueling flexibility during future deployments for the AV-8B Harrier.
