U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Brandon Ronhovde, a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 273, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, is meritoriously promoted to sergeant at Setermoen, Norway, Feb. 2, 2024. Ronhovde was selected for meritorious promotion from corporal to sergeant because his performance exceeded that of his peers, enabling his advancement. Ronhovde chose to have his chevrons placed by members of the Norwegian Army to honor his Norwegian descent and to recognize the cooperation between the U.S. Marine Corps and NATO allies in preparation for Exercise Nordic Response 24.
