This year marks the 80th anniversary of Operation Overlord, the Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944 -- most commonly known as D-Day. The Airborne Museum in Sainte-Mère-Église, Normandy, honors the memory of the US Army's 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, known for their parachuting into Normandy on June 5–6, 1944. Established in 1964 through donations, the museum aims to commemorate the valor of these airborne troops and their pivotal role in the Normandy landings. (U.S. Army Video by Sgt. Jacob Bradford)
