U.S. Marines execute live-fire landing zone denial ambush drills at the Central Training Area, Okinawa, Japan on March 8, 2024. The training increases the Marines proficiency in the executions of landing zone denial ambushes in support of stand-in-force operations. The Marines are with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines. 2/7 is forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Marine Regiment, 3d Marine Division as part of the Unit Deployment Program.
