U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 171st Air Refueling Squadron from Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, assisted the 909th ARS in refueling both USAF and U.S. Navy aircraft during a two week deployment at Kadena Air Base, Japan, March 10, 2024. The ANG routinely augments active duty forces, helping bolster operational manpower and relieving pressure off their AD counterparts during events or day to day operations.
