Throughout the month of March 2024, Pacific Marines were actively involved in various training and exercises, to include Iron Fist 24 and Cobra Gold 24, two large-scale annual exercises which further strengthen regional partnerships and operational effectiveness. Some of the training featured includes free-fall operations and room clearing training with the Royal Thai Marine Corps, bilateral flights between 1st Marine Aircraft Wing and the Republic of Korea Marine Air Group, and 3rd Marine Division live-fire exercises. Pacific Marines are consistently engaged with Allies and partners throughout the theater to improve mutual capabilities and interoperability in support of shared security objectives as well as promote a free and open Indo-Pacific.
