The Civilian Healthcare Navigator Program initiative allows translators to work inside the local hospital to assist DOD Civilians access care off-base, March 2024 at Camp Zama, Japan. The program is similar to the translator services already offered to U.S. service members and their families when they receive referrals to off-post medical facilities.
