Squads with 7th Infantry Division conducts a Situational Training Exercise (STX) as part of their Best Squad competition at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, April 2, 2024. The events included filling out a range card, patrolling and breaching a concertina wire obstacle, and a grenade throwing lane. The Best Squad competition assesses each squad on their technical and tactical proficiency, as well as their ability to work as a disciplined and cohesive team that embodies the Bayonet Division’s motto of “Trust in Me.” The squad that wins the competition will participate in the I Corps Best Squad competition.
