Early morning point of view walking tour around the static aircraft displays during setup of The Great Texas Airshow at Joint Base San Antonio Randolph, April 5, 2024. Static displays ranged from historical-era aircraft to flying performances of aircraft currently in active service with the U.S. Air Force. The USAF flies and maintains more than 70 airframes to include fixed wing, rotary wing and remotely piloted aircraft. Airshows provide an opportunity for people to see U.S. military air capabilities in action and meet the service members who fly and maintain the equipment. (U.S. Air Force video by Richard Kaulfers)
