U.S. Soldiers participate in an obstacle course and confidence course in a Military Intelligence Readiness Command Non–Commissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year competition held at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., April 13, 2024. Competitors are evaluated on their ability to adapt and overcome scenario-based battle-focused events, which challenge the full spectrum of technical and tactical proficiencies necessary to ensure success while conducting operations in uncertain conditions.
