U.S. and Republic of Korea Army Soldiers from across South Korea participate in the Expert Infantryman, Soldier and Field Medical badges. Today is the final day of testing on patrols, medical, weapons and land navigation with only 196 candidates remaining before the Soldiers transition to Camp Humphreys to conduct their timed 12-mile ruck march.
The purpose of the E3B is to create experts at all levels, across all organizations, increasing the readiness and lethality of teams, squads, and platoons throughout various units on the Korean peninsula. Events such as the weapons lane are the key enabler to molding the force into professionals, while stressing commitment to every Soldier's individual development. (U.S. Army Video by Spc.
