U.S. Sailors with 2d Marine Division (MARDIV) participate in a six-mile Doc Kent memorial hike on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 23, 2024. This hike is held as the opening event for the annual division-level Doc Kent competition to commemorate Aaron A. Kent, a U.S. Navy Hospitalman, who was assigned with 2d MARDIV, II Marine Expeditionary Force and killed in action during combat in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005.
